There's no greater joy to be selected by the Almighty for this years pilgrimage.. Definitely this is the greatest & sweetest moment of my life.. who knows after being tested with few obstacles, alhamdulillah, Allah grant us the opportunity to perform our hajj during Haji Akbar.. Allahu Akbar.. There's no word to describe our feelings.. we are truely contented & overwhelmed.. i hope our submission are accepted by HIM and remain mabrur forever.. amiin..
Anyways, our plane to Jeddah took off on 15th Dec 2006 from the Senai International Airport... from Jeddah, we rode a bus heading to Makkah.. we stayed for almost 40 days in Makkah at Marwah Al-Naqa Hotel, which is about 500m to Masjidil Haram..
After two weeks in Makkah, we went to Arafah for Wukuf, Muzdalifah for mabit and Mina for Stoning of the Jamarat.. everything went well.. despite the big crowd at Masjidil Haram, alhamdulillah, we did managed to perform our tawaf & sa'ie on 11th dhul-hijjah, we walked back to Makkah from the jamarat and then went back again to Mina before dawn.. that left us with another two days of stoning activities and on 13th dhul-hijjah all of us went back to Makkah after we did our stoning right after subuh prayer.. the traffic from Mina to Makkah was quite heavy and it took us couples of hrs to reach our hotel, eventhough the journey would only take us 1 hr if we travel by foot.. no matter what, we are happy that everything went well..
In Madinah, we stayed at Al-Haram Hotel for 8 days, 50m to Masjidil Nabawi.. got the opportunity to visit raudhah and the maqam of rasulullah SAW & his sahabats cum fathers in-law, Saidina Abu Bakar As-Siddiq & Saidina Umar Al-Khatab..
After 8 days spent in Madinah, we did our ziarah wada and left Madinah for Msia at Madinah Airport.. the journey was on the 10th Muharam and we touched down in Senai a couple hours before Subuh prayer.. Alhamdulillah, our manasik went well and it was indeed a great journey that shall be remembered our whole lives..
